Impeached, is that too strong? I dunno. Probably not. We impeached former President Bill Clinton for perjury. Do you think violating the Constitution and the War Powers Resolution of 1974 is stronger reason than perjury?
Article 1, section 8 is pretty clear:
The Congress shall have Power ...To declare War, grant Letters of Marque and Reprisal, and make Rules concerning Captures on Land and Water;
(that did not say The President, it said The Congress)
And beyond that, he clearly violated The War Powers Resolution of 1974 which didn't necessarily require Congressional approval, but only that the president consult congress.
What The Fuck?

Fraud at Government Motors
Is there nothing this government touches that isn't rife with fraud? Now we find out that the hailed Government Motors Volt, the new "all electric" car from GM, well, isn't. For $41,000 and a $7500 taxpayer subside, you can purchase a really big hybrid. There isn't anywhere to plug it in to recharge the batteries, so GM decided to add a small gasoline engine to charge them, except they also connected it to the drive train, making the "All Electric Volt" actually a hybrid.
Worse than that, it was supposed to get about 50 miles on a charge and all GM has been able to get out of it is about 26-31.
Lies, Lies, Lies (and your tax money)

Campaigning Inside The Polling Place, Michelle Obama Broke The LAW
First lady Michelle Obama appears to have violated Illinois law -- when she engaged in political discussion at a polling place!
The drama began after Mrs. Obama stopped off at the Martin Luther King Center on the south side of Chicago to cast an early vote.
After finishing at the machine, Obama went back to the desk and handed in her voting key.
She let voters including electrician Dennis Campbell, 56, take some photos.
"She was telling me how important it was to vote to keep her husband's agenda going," Campbell said.
According to the pool reporter at the scene, the conversation took place IN the voting center not far from the booths.
Illinois state law -- Sec. 17-29 (a) -- states: "No judge of election, pollwatcher, or other person shall, at any primary or election, do any electioneering or soliciting of votes or engage in any political discussion within any polling place, within 100 feet of any polling place."
A top Ilinois State Board of Elections official tells the DRUDGE REPORT how Mrs. Obama may have simply been ignorant of the law and thus violated it unintentionally.
"You kind of have to drop the standard for the first lady, right?" the official explained late Thursday. "I mean, she's pretty well liked and probably doesn't know what she's doing."
WHITE HOUSE DEFENDS ELECTIONEERING
When questioned about the brazen nature of Mrs. Obama's campaigning, press secretary Robert Gibbs defended the action.
"I don't think it would be much to imagine, the First Lady might support her husband's agenda," Gibbs smiled.
The issue isn't whether or not she supports her husband's agenda, it's where. And to think that she didn't know what she was doing is almost comical. I mean she is married to The President Of USA, a once State and US Senator which means he's run in at least 3 elections and let's not forget that she was also an Attorney in Illinois!! For the love of God, stop giving these people a pass!
I want the US Department of Justice to look into this, as soon as they finish with the voter intimidation by the Black Panthers, The Birth Certificate, The Sealed School Records from Columbia and Harvard, The Real Estate Deals with the now convicted Tony Rezko and well, I'm sure you can think of some others, Like Unconstitutional Punative Taxation against AIG Executives. You see where this is going, right?

Let me see if I get this straight.
Let me see if I get this straight:
• The State Department warns travelers to Saudi Arabia that the "public display of non-Islamic religious articles such as crosses and Bibles is not permitted."
• Travel to Makkah (Mecca) and Medina, the cities where the two holiest mosques of Islam are located, is forbidden to non-Muslims.
• The Saudi government forbids the practice of other religions. There are precisely zero churches, synagogues and temples in the country.
• Conversion by a Muslim to another religion is considered apostasy and is, in most circumstances, punishable by death.
• Proselytizing by non-Muslims is illegal, including the distribution of non-Muslim religious materials; if caught doing so, you will be arrested, charged with proselytizing, and forced to serve two or more months in prison.
• Saudi women are prohibited from marrying non-Muslims.
• The Government requires non-citizens to carry Iqamas, or legal resident identity cards, which contain a religious designation for "Muslim" or "non-Muslim."
• Women do not have the right to drive.
• A teacher in Saudi Arabi was sentenced to 70 months in prison and 750 lashes for "mocking religion" after he discussed the Bible and praised Jews.
But it's American citizens that are intolerant for opposing the construction of New York's 150th mosque -- because it's located at Ground Zero.
What a frickin' crock.
Thanks to Doug Ross

The Wars That Broke The Piggy Bank, or not?
I'm so sick and tired of the rants from the left that the wars in Afghanistan and Iraq, Bush's wars, are what have put us all in the poor house. Now don't get me wrong, they didn't help us financially speaking, but that's not the reason we are where we are.
Our Federal Government has spent the majority of our accumulated borrowed money on other things, besides the wars.

The big bump in 2008 was of course the TARP bailouts, but Jeezus Freakin Keyreist, look at Obama's spending in 2009 and 2010. Are you kidding me?
By the way, these figures come from the CBO (That's the Congressional Budget Office for those of you that not only have no math skills, but also don't know what CBO stands for)
Spending us into oblivion and while Rome is burning, the liberals are fiddling, or diddling each other, not sure which.

Obama needs to know citizenship of Michigan HS seniors
Aparently, it's wrong for Arizona to ask for proof of citizenship of people in the state, but it's ok for the Secret Service to ask for Kalamazoo, MI high school seniors to provide birth dates, social security numbers and proof of citizenship.
I think this may be the Secret Service's way of saying they agree with the new Arizona Law.

Thousands of Nonprofits may be shut down by new tax law
More than 200,000 small nonprofits across the nation are days away from losing their tax-exempt status because they haven't filed a new form with the Internal Revenue Service.
"Many of these groups already operate on razor-thin budgets and some worry an unexpected tax bill could force organizations to close.
"The nonprofits in your backyards, some of them are going to be gone," said Suzanne Coffman, a spokeswoman for GuideStar, which tracks data on nonprofits.
It's most likely the nonprofits aren't aware of the Monday deadline that only applies to groups that report $25,000 or less in income, excluding churches. Those organizations may not find out until Jan. 1, 2011, when they're notified they have to pay taxes on donations they thought were exempt. And it could be months before their nonprofit status is restored."
Am I the only one who sees this for what it is? The government is forcing all private aid societies to lose their nonprofit status, either to force them onto the tax rolls or to shut them down. Either way the government wins and liberty loses. By shutting them down the government forces higher taxation of all individuals and assumes some of the role of the nonprofits. This, of course, leads to less individual wealth across the board, more inefficient bureaucracy and less service to the needy at a higher cost to all. The other option is that nonprofits who are already on a very thin budget are forced to pay taxes and offer less service to those in need.
Either way, the only winner is government, and the big loser is those who need the services provided by the nonprofits.

Do as I say, not as I do-
“It’s highly troubling that the Obama administration might propose to lengthen the time in which a potential defendant would come before a judge,” Mr. Romero said. “Both proposals would severely undercut the Obama administration’s assertion that they believe in the rule of law.”
The Obama administration is considering asking Congress to allow the DOJ to be allowed to manipulate the 5th and 6th Amendments, when it comes to terrorism cases. At what point does jaywalking or exercising Freedom Of Speech become "terrorism". This is beginning to look a lot like tyranny to me.

More Ex Post Facto Law From The Dear Leader
In another unconstitutional play, Obama is planning to push another punitive tax. Another ex post facto punitive law. Oil companies face an immediate tax rise of 1 cent per barrel to help to pay for the clean-up in the Gulf of Mexico under proposed legislation rushed out by the White House yesterday.
That cost will, of course, be passed to consumers not the oil companies themselves. And what about after the clean up? Will the tax be removed? Just like the tolls you pay to cross the George Washington Bridge into Manhattan, the bridge has cost of the bridge was paid back years ago, but the toll keeps rising. Once a scheme is in place to bring revenue into the federal government, it stays in place due to the bureaucracy built up to administer the new revenue. We can't put those people out of work, now can we?
This is only the beginning. These environmental taxes will continue to be levied, without a vote in congress, through powers granted to the EPA through regulations.

Ex Post Facto Law
The U.S. Constitution's Article 1 Section 9, C.3 states: 'No Bill of Attainder or ex post facto Law shall be passed,' and Section 10 says: 'No State shall enter into any Treaty, Alliance, or Confederation; grant Letters of Marque and Reprisal; coin Money; emit Bills of Credit; make any Thing but gold and silver Coin a Tender in Payment of Debts; pass any Bill of Attainder, ex post facto Law. . . .'
The 'words and the intent' of the Ex Post Facto Clause encompass '[e]very law that changes the punishment, and inflicts a greater punishment, than the law annexed to the crime, when committed.' Calder v. Bull, 3 U.S. (1 Dall.) 386, 390 (1798) (opinion of Chase, J.).
An ex post facto law is a law passed after the occurrence of an event or action which retrospectively changes the legal consequences of the event or action.
Obviously any law, Ex Post Facto, from the Latin meaning-"from after the action", is hereby Unconstitutional in nature. I think we can all agree on that, yes? So how is it that a law was passed to force AIG executives to return bonuses through punative taxation? How is it now that the same people who were screaming that Arizona's new immigration law is a violation of Constitutionally protected rights, garaunteed by the 4th Amendment, are the same people who are lining up to support legislation called "Big Oil Bailout Prevention Act" that would raise the economic damages liability cap for offshore oil spills from $75 million to $10 billion.
As White House spokesman Robert Gibbs put it on Monday the Obama administration will "keep a boot on the throat" of BP to make sure the company stops oil from a sunken rig from pouring into the Gulf of Mexico as soon as possible. (Would that be a Jack Boot, there Gibbsy?) If that doesn't all add up to Ex Post Facto legislation, I don't know what does.
If the Constitution of The United States isn't equal for all, then it is equal for none. If those in Congress expect to continue to pass laws for some and not others, as they see fit, then law is no longer a rule but a whim and our Republic is actually a Dictatorship.

More of same. President Obama tells 15,000 NASA workers that if they vote for him, he'll protect their jobs. Then he slashes NASA. Now he gives the "We're going to Mars, Kennedy rehash speech" and not a single NASA employee is in attendance- At the Kennedy Space Center!

BARBREE: But I'm a little disturbed right now, Alex. I just found out some very disturbing news. The President came down here in his campaign and told these 15,000 workers here at the Space Center that if they would vote for him, that he would protect their jobs. 9,000 of them are about to lose their job. He is speaking before 200, extra hundred people here today only. It's invitation only. He has not invited a single space worker from this space port to attend. It's only academics and other high officials from outside of the country. Not one of them is invited to hear the President of the United States, on their own space port, speak today.
