More hope and change–A damning health care report generated by actuaries at the Health and Human Services (HHS) Department was given to HHS Secretary Kathleen Sebelius more than a week before the health care vote. She hid the report from the public until a month after democrats rammed their nationalized health care bill through Congress.
The results from the report were troubling. The report released by Medicare and Medicaid actuaries shows that medical costs will skyrocket rising $389 billion 10 years. 14 million will lose their employer-based coverage. Millions of Americans will be left without insurance. And, millions more may be dumped into the already overwhelmed Medicaid system. 4 million American families will be hit with tax penalties under this new law.
Of course, these were ALL things that President Obama and Democratic leaders assured us would not happen.

But I thought taxes weren't going up?
"But I though taxes weren't going up? Well, if you get your information from Obama's lapdog media you probably won't know any of this.
The 26 million small businesses in the US — like Eneslow Shoes, headed by CEO Robert Schwartz—are getting buried under an avalanche of new taxes, which include:
* An increase of 4.6% in federal taxes from 35% to 39.6% (expiration of Bush tax cuts)
* An increase in capital gains taxes from 15% to 20% (expiration of Bush tax cuts)
* A new tax of 3.85% on investment income, dividends, rents, royalties mandated in the new health care bill
* An increase in the Medicare payroll tax to 2.35% as mandated in the new health care bill
* In states like New Jersey and others, state and municipal taxes have been raised by the average of almost 2%"

Short-term customers boosting health costs - The Boston Globe
Short-term customers boosting health costs - The Boston Globe: "Thousands of consumers are gaming Massachusetts’ 2006 health insurance law by buying insurance when they need to cover pricey medical care, such as fertility treatments and knee surgery, and then swiftly dropping coverage, a practice that insurance executives say is driving up costs for other people and small businesses."
This is exactly what will be happening to health insurance companies on a national scale over the next year. Costs will skyrocket, those that opt to keep insurance rather than pay a fine and "game" the insurance law, as in Massachusetts, will find their premiums going up by 200-300%, while coverage plummets. Soon, all people with insurance will drop their coverage and pay the fine, then the insurance industry will collapse leaving us with the "Single Payer" system that the Democrats wanted all along.
Under the single payer system, costs will skyrocket with bureaucratic inefficiency and these costs will have to be paid for. The govt isn't going to produce any incentive for lowering costs, so they will increase taxes in the form of higher income taxes, penalties for non coverage and then the all hailed in Europe-Value Added Tax. The VAT in Europe and Canada is applied just like a national sales tax, with this little twist, the VAT adds a tax every time there is some value added to a product, raw ore made into steel-tax, steel cut into rods-tax, rods made into machine parts-tax, machine part added to machine-tax, machine sold to be installed in production line-tax. VAT adds up to approximately 15%, add this to state and local sales taxes and you will quickly be paying 25% of the cost of a new product in taxes.
Now add 50% of everything you earn going to various income taxes-federal, state, in many cases like NYC-Local, and FICA (since the FICA withholding is about to be increased as well) to 25% of your net going out to taxes when you spend and you really aren't left with much. (BTW, if you live in NYC and are in the highest tax bracket, your taxes are over 60% on income).
We are all officially financial slaves for the government. It's just going to take about 4 more years for them to slip the shackles on all of us, including those who thought they would not see a tax increase because Obama said so.

Congressmand Phil Hare (D-IL)
On Fox News this morning, someone sent in a video of a question being asked of Congressman Phil Hare (D-IL). Congressman Hare voted for the Healthcare Bill.
Interviewer-"Congressmand Hare, where in the Constitution is Congress given the power to force anyone to buy healthcare insurance?"
A rattled and somewhat angry Congressman Hare replied:
"I don't worry about the Constitution!"
Interviewer:
"Really, you took an Oath to Uphold and Support the Constitution!"
A slightly recomposed Congressman Hare:
"I believe it gives me the right to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness! And that includes healthcare!"
Wow- what a moron. First of all, Congressman there is no Constitutional power granted to government to force the people to buy anything. Secondly, the document you were so happy to quote is the Declaration of Independence.

Prudential to take $100M health care charge in 1Q
The Associated Press: Prudential to take $100M health care charge in 1Q
Prudential joins the list of companies that are expecting big losses due to the new health care turd. AT&T, Verizon, John Deere, Catapillar, and pretty much any other "for profit" company are all on the list. Some have been called to testify before Congress about their projected losses, since Congress says they are going to save money, Congress is confused. I suppose that's because most congressmen have never had to produce anything to create wealth to use to meet a payroll. All they do is take from us, take a cut off the top for gov't employees and then redistribute the rest. (of course there is a little pilfering and fraud along the way, so very little actually goes to those in need)

The IRS is looking for even more auditors and investigators. I guess the 16,500 created by the "Health Care" turd weren't enough. Sure, throw some more on top. Spend into oblivion. It's all "free", right?

Feds take over student loan program from banks
Feds take over student loan program from banks
In one of the most overlooked and under reported segments of the new "Health Care Act", the Federal Government has completely taken over the Student Loan business from private banks. They have now forced private companies out of the business of loaning money for college education. Let that sink in a minute.
The Federal Gov't will now be borrowing money from the Federal Reserve Bank at a very low interest rate, let's say 2.5% and then loan it to students at say 6.5%. The gov't will now make a 4% profit that will go into paying for health care for whomever, although that's not the important point here..
The point is that the Federal Gov't, in one fell swoop, effectively destroyed and confiscated an entire industry. What about the hundreds of thousands of people that this is going to put out of work starting July 1, 2010 when this goes into effect? The private bankers and their employees first, then the hardware store owner, grocery store clerk, etc... Anyone who did business with any of the funds generated by the loans or the interest it generated. Was there any mention of that aspect of this in the dinosaur media? Of course not.

Health premiums could rise 17 pct for young adults
I sure am glad that all of you that voted for and supported the non-health care government take over of the economy bill are getting that "Free Health Care" that you wanted. Oh, wait, you are actually going to have to pay a higher premium or a fine if you don't. Like how that Hopey Changey shit is working for you now?

Timeline of Major Provisions in the Democrats’ Health Care Package
Timeline of Major Provisions in the Democrats’ Health Care Package Taken directly from the House Ways and Means Committee Report. By the time this is fully implemented, the Congressional Budget Office says that the national debt will amount to 90% of GDP. For those of you too poorly educated to know what this means, God help you because it will meant total economic collapse of the USA. Maybe that was the plan all along.
