Congressmand Phil Hare (D-IL)

On Fox News this morning, someone sent in a video of a question being asked of Congressman Phil Hare (D-IL). Congressman Hare voted for the Healthcare Bill.
Interviewer-"Congressmand Hare, where in the Constitution is Congress given the power to force anyone to buy healthcare insurance?"
A rattled and somewhat angry Congressman Hare replied:
"I don't worry about the Constitution!"
Interviewer:
"Really, you took an Oath to Uphold and Support the Constitution!"
A slightly recomposed Congressman Hare:
"I believe it gives me the right to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness! And that includes healthcare!"
Wow- what a moron. First of all, Congressman there is no Constitutional power granted to government to force the people to buy anything. Secondly, the document you were so happy to quote is the Declaration of Independence.

Have any of you seen the film Logan's Run?

In Logan's Run, a really cheesy 1976 film with Michael Anderson and Farah Fawcett, all people are required by law to end their existence on the planet the day they turn 30. Under Obamacare, there are now "death panels" who will decide if a mode of treatment is valuable enough to keep or if it is just too expensive to use. Next will they decide what age to pull your plug? Say in 2010 it's 85, 2011 it's 75 and maybe by full implementation in 2014 no one will be old enough to run for President.

And I thought McKinney was an idiot. Hank Johnson is afraid Guam may capsize. Does he know that it's an island, not a boat?

Spend Baby Spend!!!!

Former Federal Reserve Chairman Alan Greenspan said the recent rise in Treasury yields represents a “canary in the mine” that may signal further gains in interest rates... Higher yields reflect investor concerns over "this huge overhang of federal debt which we have never seen before," Greenspan said... "I’m very much concerned about the fiscal situation... [An increase in interest rates would] make the housing recovery very difficult to implement and put a dampening on capital investment as well."...The U.S. budget deficit reached a record $1.4 trillion for the fiscal year that ended Sept. 30 amid falling tax revenue from the recession, a bailout of the banking and auto industries, and the $787 billion economic stimulus package."I don’t like American politics and what’s happening," Greenspan said... Historically, there has been "a large buffer between the level of our federal debt and our capacity to borrow... That’s narrowing. And I’m finding it very difficult to look into the future and not worry about that."

DNC Chairman Howard Dean admits Health Care was always about Redistribution of Wealth!

The always daffy Howard Dean appeared on CNBC’s “Squawk Box” Sunday to discuss the health care reform bill. He explained that the broader principle of the legislation has less to do with fixing the health system and more to do with a Marxist principle of redistributing wealth.

“When [wealth distribution] gets out of whack as it did in the ’20s and it has now, you need to do some redistribution. This is a form of redistribution.”

GOP hopes repeal-the-bill fire won't burn them

GOP hopes repeal-the-bill fire won't burn them
Typical Big Government Left/ Right nonsense. It's like any other huge entitlement program that ultimately gives gov't more control, once enacted it's quickly forgotten about in Congress, and will never be repealed. Again, the BGM (Big Government Machine) has forced something on the people they don't want, make a big stink about it, then do nothing so as not to rock the boat. They have granted themselves so much more power than our Founders ever intended and they will never relinquish that power without a fight. They count on the modern ADDAA (Attention Deficit Disorder Afflicted American) forgetting the details in a few weeks. The typical ADDAA has already watched an episode of "Lost" and is more concerned about Locke's dream than what the BGM is doing to them economically.
It's no longer Left vs Right, it's us vs them. The BGM is now almost entirely the sort of gov't that the Founders fought against to win their freedom. Only difference, the Founders were fighting someone who believed he had a Birthright to the Throne.....hmmmm, Clintons? Bushes? Kennedys? and now much to my own chagrin Pauls? Maybe there is no difference. Tyranny is Tyranny.

Crash the tea parties! - Infoshop News

Crash the tea parties! - Infoshop News
I've been to Tea Parties. I am going to DC on April 15th for the Tax Day Tea Party. I have never seen or heard anyone that is part of the Anti-Tax and Spend Big Gov't say anything racist, incite violence in any way shape or form. I find it humorous that the "Anarchists" are now, no longer anti gov't, but part of the Socialist agenda.
What I really think is going on here is someone in the Socialist Democratic Machine has infiltrated the anarchist movement through a group called "Anti-Racist Action" and is trying to operate them as a puppet for their own agenda. Now, "Anti-Racist Action" has published the "Crash the Tea Parties" instruction is calling for violence against the Tea Partiers.
I certainly hope it doesn't come to violence, but it may take the communists, socialists and anarchists attacking peaceful protesters to draw out the rest of the conservatives in this country to put down this coup d'etat orchestrated by the left.
God help us.
