Nancy Pelosi is an absolute moron. She doesn't care one iota what's in the legislation that she's supporting. Speaker Nancy Pelosi delivered a speech this morning at the 2010 Legislative Conference for the National Association of Counties (NACo).
In that speech she said, and I quote "But we have to pass the bill so that you can find out what is in it, away from the fog of the controversy." In other words, we need to pass this bill so we can all find out what's in it, including Congress. We all know the bill wasn't written by anyone in Congress or the Senate. The bill was written by a gang of thugs hired by the community organizers holed up at the White House.

Legislation introduced by John McCain and Joe Lieberman will allow the Department of Homeland Security to arrest protesters and keep them incarcerated as "enemy belligerents". Justice Department will be allowed to hold those arrested for indefinite periods of time without actually charging them with a crime. The arrestees would not be afforded their Miranda Rights and would be taken into military custody. I can' t believe the liberals aren't all over this story.
